Cancellation & Refund Policy for Compliance Training

This policy outlines the cancellation terms, refund process, and fair use provisions that apply to enrolments in Beebox Training’s compliance and CPD programs for debt collectors, repossession agents, process servers, skip tracers, mercantile agency staff, and credit professionals.

Effective Date: 17 April 2025

At Beebox Training, we aim to provide flexible, transparent access to industry-recognised compliance training — including debt collection training, repossession agent CPD, and process server education. We understand that circumstances can change, and the following policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, and overdue enrolments are managed.

1. Self-Funded Students (Subcontracting Agents)

If you paid online via credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Stripe, you may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

  • A full refund may be issued if you notify us within 48 hours of enrolment and before accessing the course materials.
  • If training access has already been granted but the course is not yet completed, a partial refund or course credit may be offered at our discretion.
  • Refund requests made more than 7 days after enrolment are generally not eligible unless exceptional circumstances apply (e.g. duplicate enrolment or clerical error).

2. Agency-Funded Enrolments (Corporate Clients)

Mercantile agencies or credit providers funding multiple enrolments may receive group discounts and access to compliance tracking support.

Our fair use policy allows for flexibility in cases where agency staff resign shortly after completing training:

  • If a student resigns within 30 days of completing their training, we may either:
    • Exclude that enrolment from the final invoice (if not yet billed), or
    • Hold a course credit for another enrolment.
  • This policy applies only when the agency informs us at the time of resignation.

3. Overdue Enrolments

We reserve the right to apply a late completion surcharge to overdue students who delay re-enrolment after their training certificate has expired:

  • A $50 handling fee may apply if training is not renewed within 30 days of expiry.
  • A second $50 fee may apply after 60 days (maximum surcharge capped at $100).
  • This applies primarily to self-funded agents, but may be extended to agency-funded students where appropriate.

This fee helps offset the cost of administrative follow-up and reminders via email and phone. Proactive students are encouraged to maintain timely compliance.

4. Access Restrictions & Misuse

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • The course has been completed in full
  • Training was accessed using someone else’s login
  • Repeated failure to complete despite follow-ups and extensions
  • The training was assigned as part of a service-level agreement or audit requirement

Beebox Training reserves the right to revoke access if misuse is detected or if CPD training is completed by someone other than the enrolled individual — a serious breach of ASIC Regulatory Guide 206.

5. Course Validity & Compliance

Our training is designed to align with ASIC Regulatory Guide 206, which recommends 10 to 30 hours of measurable CPD annually for representatives working on credit provider files.

Each CRAG–MAP course is valid for 12 months from completion. Refunds will not be granted due to a student not receiving instructions or contract work after certification.
